Get to know Matt.
Matthew Burke has been singing pop, gospel and radio hits since the age of three. His early career included a professional church choir and performances in over thirty musicals. During his six years at university, he performed leading roles in opera, sang art song and developed his classical singing and early music technique. Matthew currently serves in the United States Army Chorus “Pershing’s Own,” performing for the U.S. President, foreign dignitaries, and Department of Defense personnel. He performs regularly all over the country, as well as at the White House, Carnegie Hall and The Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. Matthew loves teaching as much as he does singing. As the founder of Joyful Voice, a successful music studio based in the DC Metro area, he works with students of all ages and has become one of the most sought after teachers in Northern Virginia.
